A quiet day
It's a payday, but it's so quiet around here today. I'm in here doing work on the next show. I'm not designing it, but now I've gotten the light plot from the outside designer, I have to number crunch and assign a dimmer to all the lights, making sure it all will work right. I sat in on a runthru (well, stumblethru) of the show this morning, and it really looks cool. Two guys doing a show about an american film crew shooting a film in rural Ireland. They play all the characters who all interact and flow in and out of the scenes. Really weird to watch, but once you get used to the convention, you get into the story. TD is out working a Motley Crue concert down the street. Good money there. S was in for the run as well, but now is taking the afternoon off to work on other things as well. I think I'll take off now too, and go do the weekly shopping. I'll be back tonight for the comedy show, and probably earlier to get more work done while Midsummer is running. Saw the Board Tech geek yesterday and the building now has wireless, but it doesn't have the strength to get to the shop yet, only into the auditorium. An antenna will come later. He still has plans to hook up the webcam this weekend. Again, I'll let you know.
