Wild, Wierd Night
So the party went well. Closed up the party at the theatre chatting on the Mall late, then went with a bunch of friends to Kryptonite (bar down the block). Sat and chatted some more on their sidewalk cafe, until they closed and then, as a group, went back to the theatre to my stash of drinkables there. Put on some tunes, did some computer blog updating, and generally ranted. Then S's boyfriend hit the wall, and had to use the bathroom to expell some of his nights indulgence. So the two of them left. I cleaned up glasses and bottles a bit, and then packed up my stuff, locked up the building, and went out, only to find that S's car was still there. I wandered down to where I knew BF was parked, and there they were, a block away, having a heated discussion. I went back to the parking lot and waited, and sure enough S came back, and needed a shoulder and an ear. BF called her shortly after, and they made up over the phone, while I called Wife to try to salve her temper at me still being out at 2:30. When both calls were done, we chatted some more, and by the time we both made our way to our cars, it was 4 am. Needless to say Wife was more than a little furious. So then I dealt with yet another relationship crisis for another hour. Mine. The gist of it was that when I come home, I sit and watch tv and fall asleep in my chair, but for S, I'll stay up till 4 talking. That we're more roommates than married. So, having no defense to any of it, I agreed to work on my marriage with as much dedication as I give to my friends. Shouldn't be hard, S is now finally done at NAT and is going to be working on her relationship, so I won't be out galavanting at all hours with her anymore. She'll still be in town, but I won't be around her regularly anymore. So now I also have to face the reality of my life and my marriage and decide if it's time to grow up, or get out.
Oh, the show went well.

Ok, I've maybe made it into the 21st Century. I may have figured out how to leave comments. Had to leave this here, although the actual comment is in the email.
Thinking is good for you, by the way. ;)
