A monday meme

Ok, it's not monday, and this isn't even this weeks meme, but it's the first in a long while that has been interesting to me.

<>1. Do you prefer to play video games or board games?

oh board games by far. especially the newer trivia or challenge games. Though I also like Mancala, or monopoly. Could never get into chess. Backgammon is good. Or Othello, remember that one?

2. Have you ever played a competitive sport?

As a kid I used to play Hockey. I was a pretty good goalie.

3. Have you ever preformed in a play or anything else theatrical?

Well, now as a theatre designer, I abhor the limelight. But there was one time, in elementary school (maybe 6th grade?), I was the butler in a show about a butler who reformed a troubled kid. I've tried to blank it from my memory.

4. What is your favorite card game?

I grew up playing pinnochle. It's still my favorite card game, but trying to find 3 others is impossible. It involves strategy and skill. I call it 'Euchre for grown-ups.' Poker is the current rage.

5. What song makes you happy every time you hear it play?

ohh there are several. A couple of Simon and Garfunkel songs, especially, 'Feelin Groovy'. Some Alan Parsons, some Lisa Gerrard. All in all, too many to mention. Most of them are linked to memories.
