It's Convention time!
I've just gotten word that I'm going to be able to go to the USITT conference in Houston in March! Woo Hoo. (United States Institute for Theatre Technology)
I think DeafGirl and I are gonna be doin' some partying like it was 2005! I've never been to one of these before, but I'm SO looking forward to it. And I get to (have to?) spend some time plugging our program at our Booth on the expo floor. Our head of the department has backed out, so my boss said, "we have a hotel room and registration if you want it..."
HELL YES!
now to convince Wife that this is a good thing...

WAIT! Houston?? That's a half hour flight from here!! And probably a rental car but it might be a doable thing to crash the party!!! How awesome would that be!

hm, flights are a little more $$$ than I thought. Say about $350 or so plus a car. But I may be able to spring some miles from Boy, he has enough to spare. I'll have to work on that. What are the dates???
I'm a bit curious about the dates, too. It's been a long time. I'll have to see if I can get there, but I'd love to try depending on the dates...
