Nibble nibble

Well, I got my first response from my earlier batch of resumes. I have an interview set up in DeKalb (NIU) on April 19. The first email suggested a Tue. or Thur. in the next 4-5 weeks. I suggested THIS thursday. oh well. I can wait 3 WEEKS. I may snag S and find out if she wants to go down and just scout out the campus some weekend. As close as I am to them, I've never been down to that campus, and she might enjoy seeing it too. Oooh, they have a show this weekend and on the 14th, Tracers. A series of Vietnam war stories. She's mentioned going down to see one. I'll plan on that.

It's also time to start planning this summer. Josh has been slow in getting things organized for New Court Theater this summer, but that's Josh. He's also getting pressure from his board to get things moving, so I'll prod him too. If I'm going to start having interviews and whatnot, I'll need to find out when I'm free.

We're planning another game night (hopefully poker. I didn't do to well the last time, and feel out of practice.) this friday. Looking forward to that.

Starting to get estimates on repairing the roof. One said the whole roof doesn't need it, only the valleys and flat roof sections. Another said the whole roof needs it. Hmmm.

Crap. My glasses are falling apart. Last fall, one bow broke and I got A to find me a spare. Now, this morning, one of the floating nose pieces fell off. The whole thing's loose at all the seams and probably isn't long for the world. Crap. If it's not one thing, it's another.
